DJB is a California-based emcee. His experience on the mic began in high school, working with archaic software in the bedroom of his single-wide mobile home in the middle of the country. His passion for music grew from these humble beginnings, leading him to explore and develop his talent as a rapper. Once DJB entered college, his world opened up. He partnered with fellow Northern California emcee PreciseMC to form the duo ILL EFFECT. At the same time, he began performing live and participating in internet rap forums, where he met many of the original core members of White Collar Rhymes (WCR).
Present
As DJB's career progressed with ILL EFFECT, he lost touch with the forums and many of his former collaborators, but reunited with WCR in 2022. Over his career, DJB has performed with notable artists such as KRS-One, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, E-40, D12, Andre Nikatina, Mickey Avalon, KXNG Crooked, Lil B, and more. DJB has slowed down his music production but continues to collaborate regularly with WCR and ILL EFFECT.
What's Next
DJB is in the process of finalizing a solo album titled “Watercolors,” which showcases his ongoing commitment to his craft despite taking a step back from his earlier prolific output.
